Why Shoreshouse?
While searching through genealogical records of the Lunt family, the name of one property was mentioned in a will. This property was known as Shoreshouse. Not much is known about this “old house” that belonged to Randle Lunt Sr., other than it consisted of at least one parlor and one room directly above it. But we like to believe that in this old house was also a library, passed on to Randle’s widow, Ann. Shoreshouse is assumed to have later passed on to their children, though somehow it faded away in our records over time.
We have revived the memory of Shoreshouse here, in the creation of this website and newsletter, where we hope to house a library of our own making.
Our Newsletter, The Shoreshouse Journal, contains writing updates, behind the scenes research, and publishing announcements for upcoming novels. But most importantly, we want to share with you pieces of our author’s writing. Poems. Short Stories. Deleted Scenes. And more. Sign up now and receive free monthly emails delivered to your inbox.
